Form - Change of License Status

As a licensed medical laboratory assistant, technologist or combined laboratory x-ray technologists (MLPs) you are required to notify NSCMLT if any of the following apply:

Maternity/paternity leave
Off due to an illness (short or long term) or injury
Leaving the province
Retiring from the profession
Leaving the profession or not employed as an MLP in Nova Scotia

To submit a Notice to the college:

Log into your account on the Member Portal
In the sidebar menu go to the Request Form
Select, and complete the Notice of Non-Practising Form

Please note you must notify NSCMLT and obtain a practising license before returning to work as an MLP in Nova Scotia.
