Policy for Resignation Due to Leaving a Position, Retirement or Moving out of Province It is the policy of the NSCMLT that MLTs are required to formally notify the College of such leave by completing a notice of Non-Practice form. Failure to renew or to formally resign on or before January 1st results in suspension of the License to Practice for non-payment of fees. A License is autmatically suspended after 2 weeks if an application and payment is not received. This will be permanently indicated on your file that a license suspension was issued and this information will be shared in a letter of standing request from another province and is public knowledge.
To submit a Notice for Non-Practice to the college;
- Log into your account on the Member Portal
- In the sidebar menu go to the Requests section
- Fill out and submit the Notice for Non-Practice Form
