DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Nova Scotia College of Medical Laboratory Technologists is a self governing profession. It receives its authority from the NS College of Medical Laboratory Technology Act and Regulations.

The board manages the business of the college and ensures the college meets the objects specified in the NSCMLT act. The board is required to meet at least 3 times a year. There are 7 registered MLTs that are elected by the registrants, and 3 public members appointed by the NS government.

Meetings are open to the registrants and the public. If you wish to attend, please call in advance of the meeting to assist in spacing or sharing of call-in information.
