New Registrant from a Regulated Province
If you currently hold a position as a MLA/MLT/CLXT in a province where the profession of medical laboratory technology is regulated, the following documents are required:
- A letter of standing from current or previous licensing college
- Proof Professional Liability Insurance of $2,000,000
- Proposed employer's intent to hire letter
- Evidence of NSCMLT English language requirements (refer to the English Language Proficiency policy)
- Canadian government issued photo identification (Canadian birth certificate, Canadian passport, proof of landed immigrant resident status, or copy of a valid work permit)
- Copy of criminal records check (CRC)/ vulnerable sector check (VSC)
Please Remember:
You cannot work in Nova Scotia until you have received notice from NSCMLT that your application has been approved.
