The Division of Hematopathology will be holding our seventh annual symposium: The Lorna Pearce Hematopathology Symposium. We are pleased to offer this conference free of charge as an all-day event including food for breaks and lunch.
The target audience will be all Regional Hospitals in NS, NB, and PEI (NFLD is also welcome). The focus of this symposium will be on Hematopathology topics and all laboratory staff, pathologists, residents, scientists, nurses and attendings are invited.
Topics in Hematopathology including; transfusion medicine, morphology, flow cytometry, molecular and others areas covering both adults and children will be presented.
Once again we will be offering awards for abstracts and/or interesting case reports; three award winners will be selected and individuals will be given 15 minutes to do a presentation . We encourage your submissions and good luck!!! A change this year for the awards is that we will only be accepting applications from MLTs, MLAs, Students, Nurses and Residents.
